McKenzie Business Service, LLC began in 2016 when Bobbi Fondren set out to create an accounting practice that felt personal, transparent, and accessible. Based in Leaburg, Oregon, she built McKenzie Business Service around long‑term relationships and dependable bookkeeping and payroll support for small businesses across the Pacific Northwest. As the business grew, Bobbi’s husband, Bob, offered support that helped MBS expand beyond a one‑person practice. Bobbi’s approach emphasizes trust, clarity, and genuine connection — values that continue to define the firm today.
As McKenzie Business Service grew, the next generation stepped in. In January 2024, Bobbi’s granddaughter Olivia joined the firm, bringing fresh energy and a commitment to expanding the family’s bookkeeping legacy. In July 2024, Bobbi’s daughter Trina joined as a partner, strengthening the firm’s structure and helping shape its future direction.
Together, Bobbi, Trina, and Olivia represent five generations of accountants, actively carrying the legacy forward today. Their shared experience and complementary strengths allow McKenzie Business Service to serve clients with both consistency and innovation.
By 2026, the family’s work had grown enough to support two connected practices. After completing her associate’s degree in accounting, Olivia partnered with Trina to establish Twin Roots Accounting LLC, creating a dedicated space for onboarding new clients.
